Meet the Gardener behind The Granary Garden
The seed was planted years ago when I moved to Leeds for work and filled my apartment with houseplants, my first instinctive attempt at creating a green space of my own.
My love of plants and flowers grew from there, leading me to study floristry with Create Academy and Willow Crossley, before discovering the joy of growing vegetables at my first home and allotment.
Becoming a mother made me rethink what I wanted from my career. I knew I wanted to do something rooted in creativity, nature and connection.
I began working for a local garden maintenance company, joined the WRAGs scheme through the WFGA, and studied for my RHS Level 2 at Askham Bryan College. I later went on to study garden design with the British Academy of Garden Design.
Today, I’m lucky enough to combine all of those experiences to create thoughtful, naturalistic gardens that are beautiful, full of life and designed to be enjoyed.

You’ll find me working hands-on in private gardens across Yorkshire pruning, planting, and tending borders through the seasons.
Alongside my gardening work, I also design gardens and planting schemes, with a focus on creating spaces that feel grounded, beautiful, and in tune with nature.
